This outfit is the second way I would style a turtleneck sweater. If you missed the first way, check out my post here! Turtleneck sweaters are such great winter staples that every girl needs in their closet. For this outfit, I was going for a more dressed up and chic look.
This turtleneck sweater is long and boxy so I wanted to pair it with something sleek and flattering. The sweater was long enough so I was able to pair it with my black leggings. I wore my black sock booties since I wanted an all black look to make the grey tone of my sweater stand out. It also makes my outfit look really chic and classy. I added a cute and girly touch to the outfit by wearing my black floppy hat. Floppy hats are super trendy and stylish. They can dress up any simple and casual outfit.
I literally got this turtleneck from Forever 21 years ago and still wear it every winter. It is so soft and comfortable. I linked several sweaters below in grey tones that are under $50. My black leggings are from Garage. They are the only place I buy black leggings from – I love them. I know every girl has a certain place where she gets her black leggings, but if you are looking for good price and good quality, then you have to check out Garage. They are under $20 and they are always doing a “Buy one, get one 50% off” sale, which is great. I got these black sock booties from Steve Madden. I linked two similar ones from Charlotte Russe for under $20 and a Forever 21 floppy hat for $20.
Even though I only showed you two ways to style a turtleneck sweater, there are endless possibilities of styles and outfits that you can put together. If there is another style you want me to show you, leave it in the comments 🙂
